E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā rau rangatira mā, tēnā kautau katoa. AMNOHL is delighted to announce Renee Matoe as the Assistant Coach for the 2018 Aotearoa Māori Netball International Secondary School (AMNISS) team. Of Ngati Ruanui decent, Matoe played her Māori Netball for Ikaroa ki te Raki age groups over the past decade. “It is exciting to be a part of my first international campaign. The amount of young Māori talent we have turn up each year to the Easter Tournament is outstanding and being able to witness that is a privilege. I look forward to working with both Jess and Rebecca to ensure we have selected the best from the tournament to represent Aotearoa later on in the year.” Matoe is the current Head Coach and Head of Netball Programme at MANUKURA – a designated special character school specialising in high performance sport and academics – where she spent a number of years as assistant coach to current Sliver Ferns assistant and Central Pulse head coach, Yvette McCausland-Durie. END.
