Oceania Para Regional Championships

The Oceania Para Team have now returned to NZ after the completion of the first Oceania Para Championships in Canberra last week.

Congratulations to the team on some great performances, notably Victor Kamizona taking out the Gold in the Class 9-10 defeating Jackson Meyn 3-0 from Australia in the final.

Ayush Bhatnagar (Auckland) won Bronze in the Class 8 after losing a close match to a very vocal Avelino Monteiro of New Caledonia.

Wheelchair athlete James Goulding (North Harbour) also won Bronze in the Class 2-3

Ayush went on to claim a Silver Medal in the Class 6-8 teams event combining with Avelino Monteiro (New Caledonia)

Great results from our NZ Para Team at the first ever Oceania Para Championships.
