Softball New Zealand is delighted to announce the following appointments to the NZ White Sox management team ahead of their Canada Cup tour.

MANAGER - Kylie Dalton
ASSISTANT MANAGER - Aimee Russell 
ASSISTANT COACH (OUTFIELD SPECIALIST) - Zavana Aranga
BATTERY COACH - Suzy de Lautour

Kylie Dalton is an outstanding communicator, highly organised and known to get stuff done. Her recent NFC involvement and time supporting women's premier club softball alongside her professional background as a school teacher having planned and led many camps including helping lead two overseas trips combined a great fit for the team. Kylie is excited to now be supporting the White Sox in this Manager’s role.

Aimee Russell is also highly organised and a great communicator. Aimee’s experiences include being a Manager of the NZ Developing Sox Girls team with international tour experiences including the WBSC U15 Women's World Cup. Aimee’s is extensively involved in softball supporting her club in various capacities, supporting our National Office with special projects and comms and is a SNZ L4 scorer. Combined with a background in film and media logistics offers a great addition to the White Sox.

Zavana Aranga is a dual international athlete, having represented New Zealand in both softball and rugby league, with a strong desire to give back at this level in the sport she loves. Her sporting achievements are based on work ethic and discipline, with a deep understanding of the process to gain success and support of the team by being a good team member. She will be promoting this same approach as an assistant, in support of head coach Donny Hale. 

Suzy de Lautour adds great international pitching experience, having competed on the world stage for New Zealand as a frontline pitcher herself. As part of her huge investment of our game, she has continued to develop her coaching experience - having worked with the Canterbury women's pitchers in recent years and established key pitching coach connections across the country and abroad. This added to Suzy's broad strength and conditioning, and technology know-how, offers a great resource for elite female battery. We are thrilled to have them onboard, supporting our White Sox programme.
