WELCOME TO 2023 SEASON!!!!!!!! The committee have been busy in the off season forging a new path forward for the club. We are welcoming Steve Kidd into the role of Operations Manager who will be with the club two days a week. Steve brings a wealth of knowledge around club organisation and sport administration which we are excited to have access to. The club is eager to support him in starting the initiatives required to take us forward and set the club up for the future. Like anything that involves new intiatives it will take time to get these set up with solid foundations in place. Watch this space as we start on this new and exciting journey. _______________________________________________________________________ SENIOR SEASON START We are off to a great start for the season with 5 Senior Rugby teams - Senior A's, B;s, Colts, U85's and Presidents. In addition to these teams a massive effort has been put into our senior netball teams by Kellie and Marnie Watson to get 4 teams off the ground this year - Premier, Premier Reserve, Leamington Ladies and Leamington Social. _______________________________________________________________________ JUNIOR SEASON START This year we also have another large contingent of junior rugby, hockey and netball players that are being co-ordinated by our three super stars Jase Rouse - Rugby, Sam Ward - Hockey and Lara Connors - Netball. Without the help from the volunteers we would not be able to accomplish for our juniors what we do. ______________________________________________________________________ RESULTS TO DATE Well we are coming up to week six of the season with some great results so far this season.
Our Senior A team are currently undefeated and their season is on track for some great outcomes!
Senior B team are also undefeated to date with some fantastic results for their efforts as well.
Colts started out with some mixed results whilst they settled into the season with over half of team being first their year in club and playing at this level. These players have created a great culture which is helping them to start coming together as a team!
U85 Longhorns have started the season well and have mixed results but have a fantastic culture in amongst this team of young men. They are very often seen of the sidelines on weeks they do not have games supporting other teams and if you are ever around their trainings they have a great vibe to them.
