CHRIS GATES REACHES 20 YEAR MILESTONE
People are, and always will be, one of our greatest assets. We at Softball New Zealand want to acknowledge the valuable, and significant, contribution that Chris Gates has made to our sport over his two decades of service; with today being the 20th anniversary of starting work for SNZ.
Chris has been a hard worker, incredibly loyal and diligent in his work, and has been a cornerstone employee for Softball New Zealand for two decades. He has worked through half a dozen CEOs, 8 Chairs and countless colleagues over the years, with Chris remaining a constant, and part of the heart and soul of our organization. He has been a personality around the ballparks, an advocate for our national team pathways, and possesses a wonderful knowledge of both the game and organizational policy that has kept both the participant and the business safe, secure, and valued across the motu.
We would like to extend our congratulations on reaching this milestone, and thank you for your loyalty, dedication and friendship across your tenure - and ironically, on your last day of employment with Softball New Zealand.
We salute you Chris, with our best wishes for the future.
