Your coach or manager should have been in touch with you all regarding training nights.
Club Fusion trains Wednesday night from 7-9 on courts 1-5 starting this week.
Subs and Player Contracts
With the start of the season almost here we will be sending out invoices for your subs very shortly, these need to be paid before the first game so that uniforms can be issued. no payment( or arrangement made with Kim Our Treasurer) no play. you will all have either signed your player contract at the club information night held last month or received an email inviting you to fill in the contract online, these need to be filled in before uniforms are issued.
Season Fundraising and Dates.
As you are aware we aim to keep our fees low to ensure playing netball is assessable to you as players. this year we have introduced into the Player contract an option to either participate in our season fundraising which helps cover the cost to enter teams in the Kapiti competition and our end of season prize giving. Or pay a higher fee to cover not having to help with the fundraising. this fee will be reflected in your invoice depending on which option you chose at the information night. If you weren't at the information night please Email Kim at treasurer.clubfusion@gmail.com which option you would like.
Southward Car Musem Coffee and Car BBQ 24th of April;
We are once again lucky to be given the opportunity to run the BBQ at the coffee and Car meet at Southward on Sunday 24th of April. Tessa will be in touch with each team to fit you into a time slot.
Jingo Tuesday 3 May
We have our new date for Jingo and you all have a team rep that has agreed to collect your ticket sale money and raffle prizes, with the change in covid gathering rules we are now able to sell more tickets. If we can each sell 2 tickets each we will have a very successful night. So let's pack the Jolly out with Fusion Supporters.
Netball Kapiti BBQ 28th May
With the madness of covid, this annual fundraiser has been up in the air. but we are happy to be given the all-clear from netball Kapiti and they have given us the date. again Tessa will be in touch closer to the date with your team's time slot. if each play could please donate either baking items bottled water or fizzy drink or some lollies to add to the table for sale. This has always been a fun BBQ for teams to have a laugh so we encourage as many from your team to join in.
Monthly Club Night
This year we are focused on building a strong Club Culture. Tessa and her crew have planned a monthly Club night, these are to be held at the Softball Club Rooms. teams will be made up of members from different club teams to give you a chance to get to know each other. Each month we will run fun team challenges and activities and the winning team will get a bar tab to use at the following months club night, and points will be telled up so the team with the most point will get something a little special at the end of year prize-giving, We will have Food and Drinks available so bring the Whanau so let's make our club the best on the coast.
First Club Night is set for June 18 starting at 5pm hope to see you all there
Umpire Tournament in Levin
Yesterday the Annual Umpires Tournament held in Levin saw a few Kapiti teams have their first run together., and this year our one and only Illuminate joined in on the fun. This is a great way of blowing out the cobwebs from the offseason and giving their coach Janine a chance to see what new combos she has to work with.
And it is no surprise that they did well for their first run together finishing 3rd in the prem 2 Grade. Well done ladies and I hope the body isn't suffering to bad today
Congratulation Ladies.
