Kia ora Rhinos!

We got some great reports of some awesome games over the weekend. Please remember to share your match reports and photos on our private Facebook Page, we'd love to see how everyone is going. 

This weekend on Sat 21 May 2022, we will be celebrating our Old Timers Day and all of our teams should be playing at home. Full junior club photo will be taken between 8-815 am and free sausage sizzle will be available to all junior players after their games. Please let us know if you can donate 30-60 mins of your time to help with the bbq. Ideally we would like at least 1-2 parents from each team to help with this. The more hands we have, the lighter the workload, please get behind this if you can. We would really appreciate it. More details below.

Old Timers Day is set for Saturday 21 May 2022. 

We're looking forward to celebrating another season of past and present members that have made our great club what it is. 

We would also like to have our annual full junior club photo between 8 am - 815am. Please be on time for this photo as we need to ensure our teams playing at 9 am have enough time to warm up for their games from 830am. 

We will have a free sausage sizzle for all junior players after their games. 

Please let us know as soon as possible if you can donate any time to help with running this stall. 30-60 min slots would be very much appreciated so that we can all still watch our children play. We would like at least 2 parents from each team to help with this. 

This Thursday will be the first Junior Girls skills session as a part of the #RugbyHerWay Programme. At this stage, it will be used as an introduction to ensure WRFU can get an understanding and idea of what the sessions will look like going forward. They will have #RugbyHerWay activators at this session as a chance to develop delivery skills and also to familiarise themselves with what these sessions will look like.

This is an open invitation to all junior girls of all ages and experience levels to attend and have some fun with #RugbyHerWay activators, as well as an opportunity to develop our girls in a welcoming environment for females by females.

Poneke is hosting their annual Y4 Tournament on Sunday 12 June, please see the registration details below to enter your team:

Cost: $65 per team

Grades: U7-U13 (all grades are unweighted)
