Tae-Kwon-Do: Adeline wins gold!

Congratulations to Adeline Lee who competed in the World Tae-Kwon-Do New Zealand open championship held last weekend.

Adeline won gold in the Under 15 girls individual Poomsae (black belt) competition and Silver in Teams Poomsae competition.

Poomsae (also known as Taegeuk) are a pre-arranged set of movements or a set sequence of movements that consists of the various fundamental stances, blocks, punches and kicks logically arranged in a meaningful order in response to attacks from multiple imaginary assailants.

Well done Adeline!
