Welcome - Nat Broadhead

We are pleased to welcome Nat Broadhead to the WaiBOP Football team.

Nat joins as our newest Federation Development Officer and is based in Rotorua. She will work with clubs in Central and Eastern Bay of Plenty and will also have a focus on supporting women’s development in the Bay of Plenty, working alongside Vicki Lahana.

WaiBOP's Federation Development Manager, Ken Cresswell, says Nat has a good knowledge of our region. "Nat has coached our NAGT girls teams in past seasons and also has considerable experience with Claudelands Rovers, along with high school, intermediate and youth teams. I believe her skill set will be a huge asset to our team."

After eleven years working in the dairy sector, Nat is delighted to pursue her passion. "I am excited to offer my support and knowledge to clubs and schools in the Bay of Plenty community, helping to provide equitable opportunities for footballers & futsal players, coaches, officials and admin staff. I hope to help enable as many players as possible to get out on the grass and play the game we all love.

"My biggest passion lies in creating, supporting and enhancing opportunities for the Wahine and Youth in our community pathways. Hopefully I can help empower them to lead the way in pushing boundaries and help shape a better landscape for the future of the game they love to play.

"I also love helping clubs and schools collaborate in a way that creates more opportunities for the football community to come together and provide teams for those who would otherwise miss out on playing."

Nat can be contacted on [email protected] or 022 065 9116.
