Tahi was a salwart of the Huia Rugby & Sports Club, where she cooked for the Club for 22 years, she was an excellent Hockey player back in the day. Aunty Tahi continued to cook for the Taihape Rugby & Sports Club, for next 9 years until she retired due to ill health, she still keeps up with club matters.
