Team & Player Terms and Conditions

By registering and playing for Te Atatu Netball Club, Players accept these Terms & Conditions:

1. REGISTRATION & PERSONAL INFORMATION:

  • All players are required to complete an Online or Hard Copy Registration form and provide all compulsory details.
  • Compulsory details are those marked with an asterix *.
  • Hard Copy Registration forms will be transferred to the Online Registration form.
  • Personal information as per the Privacy Act 1993, is held by Te Atatu Netball Club and is not copied or shared with any other entity or persons outside the Club and is available to:
  • The Coach and/or Manager of the players’ respective team,
  • The current Club Financial Officer
  • The Club Executive – President, Vice President, Secretary, Financial Officer
  • The Online Administrator

2. FEES:

  • Players will be notified and reminded of current fee amount at trials (February/March) of the current year and thereafter at trainings and/or game times.
  • Fees include:
  • Netball Waitakere season fees.
  • Umpire costs
  • Court Hire (Training Nights)
  • Lights (Training Nights)
  • Players must pay in full, any determined Club Member fees no later than 16th May of the new year.
  • Where players opt to make staggered payments, Players must pay a minimum of $100 of the determined Club Member fees no later than 21st March of the new year.
  • Where players opt to make staggered payments, Players must pay any remaining balance of the determined Club Member Fees by 16th May of the new year.
  • If fees are not paid in full by May 16th May, Players may not take the court until the $100 (Clause 2.c above) and $20 of any remaining balance is paid.
  • If this clause is initiated, Players must make regular weekly payments of $20 before being allowed to take the court to play.
  • Where a $20 weekly payment is missed that amount is carried over to the following week and is included with that weeks payment.
    eg. Wk 1 missed – Pay $20, Wk 2 Player must pay $40, Wk 3 Player must pay $60, etc.
  • Club Uniforms as described in 3. Uniforms, except Dresses, will not be handed to players until fees are paid in full.
  • Players brought in during the current League (Winter or Summer) Netball Season shall pay fees relative to the remaining number of games and may include a proportion of Netball Waitakere (NW) Fees as determined by the Club Exec.  Eg. Half-way through the season then Half Seasonal Club Fees may be charged by the Executive.
  • Fee refunds must be requested in writing to the Club Executive for consideration and may be granted at the discretion of the Club Executive.
  • Players whom pay fees in full are considered Financial Club Members.

3. UNIFORMS:

  • Consist of:
  • Team 1 & 2:
    • Dress
    • Tracksuit Jacket
  • Seniors
    • Dress
    • Tracksuit Jacket
  • College & Intermediate:
    • Dress
    • Tracksuit Jacket
  • To ensure the integrity of our Club insignia, Club Tracksuits and uniforms may not be worn outside Club sanctioned events or scheduled games unless: the person owns their Tracksuit.
  • Uniforms will be handed to players in accordance with point 3.a. and FEES 2.d. above.

4. TEAMS:

  • All Club Teams except Presidents Teams are selected at trials and ideally consist of a minimum of 10 and maximum of 12 players.
  • At the discretion of the Team Coordinator or Coach or their appointed representatives, players may not play a full game in their preferred or another position.
  • Should a team be short through the season, permanent players may be sourced from other Club teams in lower grades in the first instance or from outside of the Club.
  • Players from outside the Club who have not paid Netball Waitakere Fees shall pay fees as per FEEs 2.e above.
  • Players from another Club who has already paid current Netball Waitakere Fees shall pay fees as per FEEs 2.e above less the NW Fee proportion or as determined by the Club Executive.
  • The Team Co-ordinator or Manager will liaise with the Coach Co-ordinator when dealing with any issues such as fees, fundraising, draws, game times etc.
  • All Team members must contact the Team Co-ordinator, Manager or Coach on the Thursday prior to Saturday’s game if they are not available to play.  Failure to provide notification of your absence for 3 consecutive games, may lose your place in the Team and possible replacement.

5. CLUB EXECUTIVE:

  • The Executive committee mentioned in these Terms and Conditions will be made up of the Club President, Club Vice President and the Treasurer.
