We’re all pumped and excited about the upcoming season! In 2024 BOP Rugby is looking to continue providing Relevant Learning Opportunities for coaches, so we’ll see you all at the upcoming courses. Attached is the information.

The 2 steps before coaching in 2024:

    1. Register on-line
    2. Attend a Compulsory Coaching course

Small Blacks Courses (Under 8 -Under 13 level):

    Western Bay of Plenty:

Note: For coaches coaching players aged 12 and under, the driver’s license field must be completed for Police vetting purposes. If you are coaching this level you must bring two forms of ID to the coaching course and our Rugby Development Officers will check this.

The Coach Development Programme is designed to offer value to coaches at all levels of the game with the aim of creating better coaches. All courses are NZRU accredited and facilitated by Bay of Plenty Rugby Union Coach Development Manager.

Rugby Smart provides tips, training guides and coaching videos from experts to ensure players and teams perform at their best - focusing on physical conditioning, rugby techniques and injury management.
