Former NRL Women’s Premiership player Lisa Edwards headlines the final Auckland Vulcans squad for this week’s National Women's Tournament.
Edwards, who was part of the inaugural Vodafone Warriors NRLW squad last year, was a key member of the Mt Albert Lionesses this season in the Farrelly Photos Women’s Premiership.
All up seven Auckland clubs are represented in the squad, with their campaign kicking off on Friday at Pulman Park.
Included in the group is a mix of talent from both the Farrelly Photos Women's Premiership and Championship sections.
Jhana Magele, Natalee Tagavaitau and Ruth Vae are the only remaining players from last year’s tournament squad.
The team will be coached by Mt Albert’s Victor Heke.
