Introducing the Youth National League

Established in 2021, the Youth National League is Aotearoa New Zealand’s top youth domestic football competition.

The girl's Youth National League runs from September - November and consistents of four teams from NRFL clubs and four federation sides. There are 7 rounds in which every team plays each other once. The team at the top of the table is then crowned the champion.

The boy's Youth National League runs from August - September and consists of three regional leagues. Eight teams qualify from these leagues to a finalist knockout tournament in which the champion is crowned.
