Reporoa College

SPORTS FEES

All students who wish to register for Sport at Reporoa College should do so with parental consent.

The fees listed for each code WILL BE CHARGED TO STUDENT SCHOOL ACCOUNTS approximately one week after registration dates close. Fees will be disbursed to any student who has registered, regardless of whether or not he/she chooses to participate once each season is underway

Please think carefully about which sports you/your student chooses to register for, and be mindful of the commitment you are making to that code by registering (i.e trial dates, practices, games, etc). We do understand that sometimes circumstances prevent students from participating in a code that they have registered for, and those cases will be evaluated by the Sports Co-ordinator and the Principal on an individual basis.

NO PAY NO PLAY = Sports fees must be paid before a student is allowed to represent the College in their chosen code.  However, we realise that sports fees can add up.  If you aren't able to pay your Sports fees immediately please contact the Sports Co-ordinator or the Finance Officer ASAP.  We are happy for these fees to be paid off, just let us know and we can arrange a payment schedule.  As long as regular payments are being made (before 1st July) students will be allowed to play sport for the school.

Uniforms are issued out pre-season and must be returned and signed back into the Sports Co-ordinator once the season has finished.  If they are not returned students will be charged the full replacement cost of the uniform.

As we are a small school  students often participate in two or more different sports withiin the season.  We will endeavour to train at differnt days/times however you may need to negotiate with your TiC or Coach.  If you have any issues please let the Sports Co-ordinator know and they will help you.

There will be many other opportunities to try different and new sports over the year. The Sports Co-ordinator and PE department will put items in the daily notices when they arise.

If there is a sport you would like to try but is not offered at Reporoa College, please contact the Sports Office and we will try and arrange an opportunity for you with an external club.
