Simkin Construction Race Night Fundraising Event

The SJC Rugby Foundation in conjunction with the SJC Cricket Foundation are hosting the 2nd Annual SJC Race Night, this year the fundraising evening is to help raise money towards the 1st X1cricket team travelling to Australia as well as towards the continued development of the SJC rugby programmes.

Date: Saturday 14th March 2020

Start time: 6.00pm until 11.30pm

Venue: St Johns College Gymnasium (Father Barry O'Connor Centre)

Dress Code: Day at the Races - horse racing theme - or whatever you would wear to the races…it really is down to your imagination!

Entry: Tickets are $40 which includes a buffet meal fully catered by the nationally recognised SJC culinary arts students as well as live entertainment and a fundraising auction.

Note: This is an R18 event.

A licenced bar will be available on the night with a selection of beer, wine, RTD’s and non-alcoholic beverages.

Tables are available for parties of 6,8,10 or 12 racegoers but we can accommodate groups of all numbers and sizes!

Alternatively, if you prefer to purchase a smaller group or just for yourself, please book and we will seat you with other likeminded punters!

What is a race night?  The attached video provides an example of a UK race night, but the SJC race night will be unique to NZ and SJC!  Be prepared for an entertaining evening and loads of fun. So grab your mates and see you there.

How much to Sponsor a Race:  $250.00        
(Your business or personal name will be included in the race book produced for the night and mentioned by our MC during proceedings)

How much to buy a Horse: $20
(You get to name your horse, let your imagination run wild, and if your horse wins on the night you receive a prize)

How much to buy a Jockey: $12
(You get to name your jockey, be creative, and if your jockey wins on the night you receive a prize)

Or to purchase both a Horse and Jockey: $30
