This is a copy of the Tairua Rugby & Sports Club Inc Constitution which was ratified by members by Special General Meeting on 9 June 2023.

If you are unable to attend a general meeting of the Club, you can appoint a Proxy, which is another person to whom you grant authority to vote on your behalf. This nominated person has the same rights and voting powers as the person who has appointed the proxy.

You can appoint the Proxy by either

  1. Electronically fill in this form  OR

  2. Download this form and email to the Club

The proxy needs to be completed no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.

To nominate a member to stand for Office, you need to submit the attached form signed by both a Proposer and Seconder, both of whom need to be current Officers or Financial members of the Club.

The form needs to be sent to the Club no later than fourteen days prior to the scheduled AGM where election of Officers is an agenda item.
