Thames Valley Hockey runs a Secondary competition during the winter sport season.   All games at Ngatea and Tuesday nights.

We have teams from around the district playing on Tuesday nights. Our schools are:

Mercury Bay Area School

Hauraki Plains College

Paeroa College

Thames High School

Te Aroha College

Waihi College

Players can qualify for selection for Thames Valley Hockey representative teams by being part of the Valley competition.

Thames Valley Hockey Development Programmes

Our Development officer is available to help with player engagement, development, advice and training and is available for in school visits, centrally run turf training and holiday programmes.

Notes for team managers 2024:   In Term 3,  from 23 July 11 aside will commmence.  

Schools are to provide Umpires.  Umpires complete the Online Results form and the written scorecard and return to the pigeonhole after each game.  If no online result -  scores will be recorded as a nil all draw.
