OUR STORY
Waipawa Country United Men's Rugby was established in 2017 by a group of local's who were keen to see rugby grow in the Waipawa community. From the ground up (with a lot of support from local business and individuals) WCUMR got stuck in to what had to be done to make this new club as successful as any other around. WCUMR proved to all other clubs that we were ready, to take on any challenges that came our way.
Without the tireless support from the committee, team members, coaches, wives and sponsors, WCUMR would not be the club it is today without them.
Now in our second year, WCUMR looks to be an upcoming club and we cannot wait to see what the 2018 season has in store for us!
