Kaipara Knights Guidelines​​​​​​​

Gameday:

• All players, regardless of grade and ability, must receive equal playing time.
  
• Subbing must be done in a fair manner. We suggest that the manager has a team list and substitutes in that order every 2 mins or so (depending on the number of reserves).
  
• Heckling and complaining to the umpire, during or after the game, is unacceptable.
  
• Be aware that this is kids soccer and full fifa rules do not apply for all grades, so while you may have spotted an infraction of the rules during your child’s game, it may not necessarily apply to that grade.
  
• Show support for your child, but please do not yell constant advice (this may distract your child and may be contrary to the coach’s messages).
  
• Make sure your child is at the game at the time appointed by the coach and either help set out the goals or bring them in as needed.
  
• Players should be ready to go in black shorts, black soccer socks with shin pads and soccer boots (team shirts are provided).
  
• Players must bring their own labelled water bottles.
• All official messages will be sent via email, so please check your emails.
  

Please, a reminder that all coaches, managers refs etc are volunteers doing it in their own time
and that most importantly the kids are at soccer for fun so let’s keep it that way.
