The Rolleston Netball Golden Oldies was officially born when two teams played in the South Island Masters Tournament in Christchurch in 2005, although we had been on several informal trips (Greymouth, Akaroa, Wellington) as a group of players from our club social teams prior to this.  We attended the NZ masters games in 2008 and the World Masters Games in Sydney in 2010.
A team also attended the Golden Oldies Netball Tournament in 2011 in Fiji (along with partners who also played).

In 2013 we had a team attending the South Island Masters Torny in Nelson, a team attending the Golden Oldies Torny in San Deigo, USA and a team taking a group of teenage netballers to Samoa.

A team attended Golden Oldies in Hobart in 2015.

A second group of iNSPIRE girls travelled to Samoa in 2016 and a third team went in 2018.

We have had great fun organising fundraisers, working as a team, and enjoying the fellowship that netball provides.
