Women's Rugby is now growing faster than the Men's game within New Zealand.  It gives girls the opportunity to branch out into new areas of sport and skills and based on the feedback from our girls that play throughout the grades, they LOVE it.  There is great interest in the Rodney Otamatea both in the Girls and the Women's grades.  Northland Rugby are fully behind the growth of Girls and Women's Rugby in the area and there are plenty of opportunities to go far in the game.

Girls can play in mixed grades right from Under 7 through to Under 13 and dependent on numbers there are opportunities to have all girls teams. 

In the IMB grades there are opportunities to play in Northland organised competitions and also at a Represenative level.
