WHEN AND WHERE RE DO THEY PLAY?

All IMB Grades are played throughout clubs and schools in Northland and is part of the Northland run IMB competitions.  Rodney Otamatea club and college teams have been extremely successful in previous years, making it to Semi-Finals, Finals and winning of Grade competitions. Rodney Otamatea belong to the South Zone competition although dependent on numbers of teams, travel distances to away games may vary each year.  The competition consists of both home and away games, with home games being played at a players club or college.

COACHES

All Coaches in the IMB Grades must complete a NZ Rugby Smart course before being able to coach.  These courses are run by Northland Rugby and ensure that coaches are confident in the skills and rules required to coach rugby in a safe and encouraging manner at the level they are coaching.  A coach is expected to complete this course each year no matter how many years they have been coaching.
